Mara Lake is surrounded by hills and  mountains and offers the best conditions for all water sports including wakeboarding  , waterskiing and tubing. It is known to have the cleanest water in all of the  Shuswap system of lakes which flow through to Osoyoos. If water sports are not  your thing, then you can take a hike on the numerous trails that are a stone  throw away. Try your skill level at Sicamous  Creek Trails, Simms Creek Loop Trail, Eagle River Nature Park, Malakwa  Suspension Bridge, and Gorge Creek Trail.   There is plenty to do all year round.
